A Message from Coal and Sgt. Geib

The majority of our friends, family and neighbors have had no direct contact with controlled substances, but unfortunately we have all known or encountered someone who is very familiar with them. Keeping that in mind take a moment to think about all the situations that your children and other friends and family members have to come in contact with this danger on a daily basis.

Please make yourself aware of the possibility that a loved one or acquaintance may be involved with drugs, talk to your kids, no matter how difficult and uncomfortable it makes you. These conversations are tough, but not nearly as tough as the results that you may have to deal with after someone you love has developed a habit or been arrested or worse.

Remember, these are your children, dont expect their teachers, the police or babysitters to raise them TEACH THEM, TALK TO THEM, AND LISTEN TO THEM.

Thank you for your interest in your children and our community.
